Considered by many to be one of the most delightful hotels in the Alps, the Chesa Grishuna is still owned and run by descendents of its founder. Located off the main road, just behind the main cable car to Gotscha peak, this hotel offers a wonderful combination of modern comfort and traditional Grisons style.
Once a favourite haunt of the iconic Hollywood movie stars of a bygone era, the hotel has a unique mountain ambience and relaxed, casual atmosphere. Guests and non-guests choose the hotel’s restaurant for their morning coffee, hot chocolate or glass of wine. There is a cosy guest lounge to meet with friends and unwind next to the log fire.
Every bedroom is individually decorated in exquisite taste with carved wood panelling, pretty wallpapers and fabrics.
The carved wood-beamed dining room serves an international cuisine. The chef has a fresh modern approach to traditional mountain fare and the à la carte menu also offers a good selection of innovative vegetarian dishes, complemented by an extensive wine list. After dinner entertainment is available in the beautiful Chesa bar.
